How AdvoRecruit handles information.
Effective September 11, 2026. This policy explains the information AdvoRecruit may collect through the app, why it is used, and the controls available to athletes and families.
Information you provide
Account details, athlete profile information, recruiting contacts, camp or school decisions, family-entered budgets and expenses, uploaded or generated media, verification requests, and messages you submit may be stored so the app can provide its recruiting tools and records.
How information is used
Information is used to operate AdvoRecruit, save your recruiting record, provide decision-support features, respond to Advocate or verification requests, maintain account security, process authorized payments, and improve the reliability of the service.
Athletes and minors
AdvoRecruit is designed to treat youth-athlete information carefully. Guardian information and consent may be requested where appropriate. Families should avoid submitting information they do not have permission to share.
Public and private information
Private athlete, family, payment, decision, and recruiting records are not intended to become public merely because they are stored in the app. Public outcome stories or media should be used only through the app's permissioned publishing controls.
Payments and service providers
Payment processing and certain technical functions may be handled by third-party service providers. AdvoRecruit uses the information needed to complete those functions and maintain transaction records, while payment-card handling is performed by the applicable payment provider.
Retention and account controls
Information may be retained as reasonably necessary to operate the service, maintain security, satisfy legitimate recordkeeping needs, and preserve transaction or audit history. Account and profile controls available in the app should be used for account-level changes.
Security
AdvoRecruit uses application permissions and access controls intended to limit private records to the appropriate user or administrator. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so users should protect account credentials and report suspected misuse promptly.
